Join the club to learn about gardening, beautify your surroundings, improve your community, work with others who share horticultural interests, and have fun with friends. Learn pruning techniques, discover what grows best in your soil and how best to fertilize, show your prize plants and floral arrangements at flower shows and exhibits. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month March through November, usually at the home of a club member. Included are short business meetings and a program on some facet of gardening. In addition, there are plant sale, tours, and a standard flower show. Club projects include the Mini Park on main street, flower beds at the nursing home, flower show at the Masonic Temple, plant sale, and Pumpkin Day.
