The Cooperstown Park Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Meeting Room located at city hall.

Whether you're visiting for a weekend or have called Cooperstown home for years, our parks offer something for everyone. The Cooperstown Park Board maintains welcoming spaces that bring families, neighbors, and visitors together throughout the year.
The City Park features a playground, picnic shelters, horseshoe pits, open green space, and the Cooperstown City Campground. The campground offers RV sites with full water, sewer, and electric hookups, along with a public restroom facility with running water and a shower for campers. Primitive tent camping is also available, making it a convenient stop for travelers exploring central North Dakota or attending local events.
The Cooperstown Baseball Park is home to youth baseball and community recreation. The Cooperstown Park Board offers summer baseball programs for children ages 4-12, with the season running from late May through July 1. Registration information is distributed through Griggs County Central School and posted each spring. Follow Cooperstown Parks and Rec on Facebook for the latest program updates and announcements.
The Park Board is currently raising funds for a modern, family-friendly aquatic center featuring zero-depth entry, a splash pad, water play features, and energy-efficient systems designed specifically for North Dakota communities. More than a new pool, this project is an investment in recreation, wellness, and the future of Cooperstown. Through community partnerships, grants, and local fundraising, the Park Board is working to create a place where families can gather, children can learn to swim, and memories can be made for generations to come.
